I won’t be wrong if I say that the best experience one can derive is by letting yourself go. Indulging deep into imperfections and surprises the streets can offer you. There is an enigma and excitement when one glances through the offerings, move ahead and come back again. There is a joy in the crowd doing the exact same thing you are!!

Yes, I am talking about street food. Come on! You have to accept it, street food NEVER disappoints. Be it Panipuri (That delicious spicy- watery delight, it is my favorite for sure) offering crunch and spice at the same time. There are always a couple of Bhaiyas who are your favorite and there is a constant fight in the form of word- of- mouth marketing where you wouldn’t mind fighting over with your best friend.

Next in line is steamed poha (It’s delicious trust me). Where I come from, the spot is overflowing with joggers, students, by standers and many more that constitute the demography of my city. A subtle, healthy and tasty way to start your day. It is interesting to see that food trucks are catching up in India. That is good news because they are, according to me, “Mini restaurants on wheels” and offering quality food at street prices.

The best one I have ever tasted is the corn- mayo sandwich. So simple yet so mouthwatering. And of course, I can’t forget my childhood love, CORN ON THE COB!! Such a delight to eat it hot, charred over coal on a rainy day.

There are a lot the streets that can offer you with some delicious food if you look at the right place. The best ever street food experience I ever had was in Delhi. It is the street food capital of India for me. From Momos to Bitu’s pani puri, the city has all in-between the two. The Brahmaputra market in Noida is the melting pot of everything nice. Shawrma and chicken curry, Dahi vada and tomato soups. There is something for everyone on the streets.

All you need to do is go out and grab some delicious food!
